Berlin, NH Donald W. Williams 83, formerly of 41 Verdun Street, Berlin passed away peacefully on July 23, 2012 surrounded by his loving family and caring staff at St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center, following a five month courageous battle with Bone Cancer. Donald was born in Berlin on January 26, 1929 the son of the late Joe and Alice (Parent) Williams. He was also predeceased by a brother Leo Williams and a sister Julliette Fontaine and a granddaughter Hillary Brodeur. Donald served his country in the Air Force. He worked in the Berlin Paper Mills until his retirement in 1990. Donald’s surviving family includes his loving wife of 61 years Millie, three sons: Donald Williams, Jr and wife Sue of St. Petersburg, Fl., James Williams and wife Nancy of Bath, NH., Gary Williams and fiancée Lisa of Brownsfield, Me, one daughter: Louise Brodeur and husband David of Berlin, one brother Robert Williams and wife Andree of Milford, Ma and one sister Dot Roy and husband Roland of Berlin. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Chad and Mallory Brodeur, Shawn, Hannah and Myles Williams, Elizabeth Mann, Michelle Ahrens, Ronnie Neil along with one great grandson Ethan Favreau. Donald had a passion for downhill skiing and enjoyed teaching his grandchildren the sport. He was an icon at Wildcat Mountain skiing with his friends and forming “The Berlin Gang” Club. He left his family with many wonderful and he will never be forgotten. As per Donald’s wishes there will be no calling hours or Funeral Mass.
